Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Coordinator to supervise the rehabilitation department and meet resident needs, fiscal requirements, and regulatory standards. You will schedule staff efficiently, communicate across services, and uphold quality and compliance with company policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with facilities to deliver high-quality therapy services while maintaining professional conduct and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree in therapy from an accredited school; or Rehab Tech with HS diploma/GED and related experience.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Speech-Language Pathologist Therapist, or Rehab Tech.

Responsibilities

• Assign patient scheduling and other responsibilities to staff as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate department functions with other services to promote team rapport and effectiveness.
• Communicate with administration regarding department programs, goals, objectives, risks, and successes.
• Participate in utilization review, quality assurance, and clinical conferences.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of billing and MDS information.
• Maintain valid state license where required and ensure compliance with infection control procedures.
