Job summary

Soleo Health in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Therapy Care Specialist to support our specialty infusion pharmacy. This role requires in-office work and works under supervision of a Pharmacist to oversee logistics of patient dispense and care coordination.

You will coordinate deliveries, capture assessment data, and ensure insurance authorizations while maintaining clear documentation in our system; prior home infusion or specialty pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician in North Carolina.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
PTCB/NHA Certification preferred.
Experience in home infusion, compounding or specialty pharmacy.
Experience scheduling patient deliveries; customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Act as single point of contact for specialty patients and coordinate medication dispense.
Coordinate patient deliveries and scheduling with pharmacy staff.
Run daily and weekly pharmacy reports.
Answer phones and route calls; monitor faxes and refill queues.
Obtain physician signatures for orders.
Maintain active patient insurance coverage and authorizations with billing staff at the branch level.
Document patient interactions and care coordination in the designated system.
Complete therapy-specific training as required.
