Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), PLPC, LMSW, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices and client goals.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention and support clients through acute emotional or behavioral episodes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate care.
• Stay current with developments in counseling psychology and mental health treatment methodologies.
