Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies in Petaluma, CA, is looking for a PHP Therapist / Social Worker to deliver clinical services to PHP clients, co-facilitate training for the PHP team, and maintain thorough documentation. The role emphasizes group therapy as the main treatment modality and supports clients in stepping down to outpatient care.

This full-time position offers salary starting at $75,409 to $89,409 per year, with annual increases, bilingual pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related subject area.
• Registered or eligible to register with the California BBS (AMFT, ASW, APCC, or fully licensed) required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
• Own vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy.

Description

The primary responsibility of the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)Therapist / Social Worker is to provide clinical services to (PHP) clients, co-facilitate training for the PHP team, complete documentation, and support the clinical integrity of the program. Therapists in the PHP provide intensive, short-term and stabilization services to enable clients to step down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. The main treatment modality is group therapy.

ABOUT STEP PROGRAMS

The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration, and Progress) program provides Partial Hospitalization services to youth ages 12-17. The goal of the STEP program is to provide intensive, short-term stabilization services to enable our clients to step down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe. STEP consists of a multidisciplinary team of counselors, clinicians, a nurse, psychiatrist, and program supervisor.

Schedule

• Starting at $75,409 - $89,409 per year
• Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications
• Salary increases each year
• $4000 salary increase upon licensure
