Seneca Family of Agencies in Concord, CA is seeking a Crisis Therapist to provide clinical services in the Partial-Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will co-facilitate training for the PHP team, complete documentation, and support the clinical integrity of the program.
The STEP program serves youth ages 12-17 with intensive, short-term stabilization, emphasizing group therapy. The role requires a Master’s degree, BBS registration, and strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
The primary responsibility of the Crisis Therapist is to provide clinical services to Seneca's Partial-Hospitalization Program (PHP) clients, co-facilitate training for the PHP team, complete documentation, and support the clinical integrity of the program. Therapists in the PHP provide intensive, short-term and stabilization services to enable clients to step down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. The main treatment modality is group therapy.
The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration, and Progress) program provides Partial Hospitalization services to youth ages 12-17. The goal of the STEP program is to provide intensive, short-term stabilization services to enable our clients to step down to lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe. STEP consists of a multidisciplinary team of counselors, clinicians, a nurse, psychiatrist, and program supervisor.
