Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an Outpatient Therapist at Rainer Springs to support patients Monday–Friday with a focus on clinical excellence and compassionate care. You will deliver individual and group therapy, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate with a broad care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes family involvement, timely communications with referral sources, and adherence to care plans, with a strong commitment to community health and professional growth

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients about psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues.
• Active involvement in treatment planning process.
• Provides family session counseling to ensure communication and involvement of family members.
• Communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Communicates proactively with those involved in the patient's treatment.
• Works with interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff.
• Maintains active communication with team members.
• Reports to UR on treatment and LOS issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems
• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process
• Provides family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources
• Demonstrates proactive communication with those involved with the patient's treatment
• Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members
• Demonstrates active communication with team members
• Effectively communicates to UR on treatment and LOS issues
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state LCSW, LPC, LMFT license or appropriate Associate Licensure andpossess. Additionalrequirements include:

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
• Basic Life Support certification isrequiredwithin30 daysof hire.

Hourlyrange: $33- $44.65per hour
