Lighthouse Care Center in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our growing clinical team. This 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for adolescents and adults and emphasizes individualized programming and collaborative care with seasoned medical staff.

The Therapist integrates and coordinates a patient-centric therapeutic strategy with emphasis on high-quality, cost-effective treatment aligned with UHS mission and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work or related field.
• Georgia licensure required (LAPC, LPC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW).
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in mental health required.

Responsibilities

• Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate.
• Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff.
• Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.
• Critical member of treatment team, interdisciplinary strategies and collaboration.

Education

Located in Augusta, GA our 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. The Therapist opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Clinical Services Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Therapist is responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
