Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their nursing team in Augusta, GA. The RN will focus on high-quality psychiatric care, patient safety, and medication management within a therapeutic milieu.

You will participate in comprehensive assessments, coordinate with the care team, and support residents of both residential and acute units. Georgia licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Georgia (RN)
• CPR or BLS certification current
• Experience with managing psychiatric patients and crisis situations preferred

The Registered Nurse opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Nursing Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment and medication management is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Registered Nurse is responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• To deliver quality direct care of patients under appropriate clinical supervision, to residents with psychiatric disorders admitted to the residential and acute units


• To provide safety, supervision and crisis management to the population


• To provide assessment and medical management of population


• To support the management of a therapeutic milieu
