Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking a licensed Therapist to join our team, within the Transformations Care Network. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop crisis and safety plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients’ mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Dedicated to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.

Education
