Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our collaborative clinical team. You will deliver outpatient therapy to individuals and families, with supervision and growth opportunities as you progress toward licensure.

We support professional development, ethics, and confidentiality while engaging with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic behavioral health care in our community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health and continuing education.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff to deliver holistic care.
