Kansas City, MO. Rose Brooks Center, a nonprofit domestic violence agency, is currently seeking a full-time Therapist.
The Therapist will deliver individual assessments, individual and group therapy, advocacy and support planning services to clients enrolled in the Shelter or Housing programs as needed, as well as clients living in the community. As needed, this position will also provide consultation, education and information to other professionals in the agency, and/or other community providers, regarding domestic violence, trauma and mental health issues as they relate to those who have or are experiencing violence in their lives.
This position reports to Director of Clinical Services.
Full-time, exempt position. This position requires a flexible work schedule (average of 40 hours per week), primarily Monday through Friday days and two evenings per week to accommodate participant’s schedules. Participation in an on-call rotation is required, approximately one week/weekend every ten weeks, providing phone-based consultation and support to shelter staff as needed. No onsite response is required for on-call duties.
This position falls into a range starting at $59,000 annually (exempt) and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
