Job summary

Mountain Valley Developmental Services in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a compassionate Residential Direct Support Professional to provide direct support and companionship to individuals with developmental disabilities in our residential homes. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage independence, and help promote community inclusion.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, valid Colorado driver’s license, and the ability to attend a QMAP class.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to pass QMAP training.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support individuals to promote independence.
• Provide daily living assistance with bathing, dressing, and meals.
• Administer medications and monitor health as required.
• Ensure a safe, clean living environment.
• Document changes in health or behavior.
