Job summary

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in a Human Service field.
• Six months to one year of direct child care work with emotionally impaired youth.

• Current CPR certification.
• Current ERS, Safety & OSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Develops and operationalizes the residential care plan for assigned children.
• Documents observations and milieu treatment in the child’s chart in a timely fashion.
• Intervenes in disruptive situations with timely therapeutic intervention.
• Communicates residential treatment plans to staff and other providers.
• Supports the development of residential care plans and behavioral management.
