Job summary

AWARE in Missoula, MT is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician to join our compassionate team. You will support adults, children and families by planning activities, leading life-skill interventions, and documenting outcomes for the care team.

The position starts at $19.00–$23.59 per hour, full-time, with benefits including Health Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401k, and professional development opportunities. A High School Diploma or HSE and a Montana driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSE required.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record.
• Must have an acceptable criminal and protective services background check.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently in assigned location/ region.
• Travel to client or service area by personal vehicle or AWARE vehicle.
• Lead participants in gaining life skills and plan recreational activities.
• Observe client response to interventions and document outcomes in EHR.
• Assist in creating protocols for interventions with short-term goals and criteria.
