Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years related experience required.
• Experience with children or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Ability to perform physical holds and interventions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients (ages 3–18) in therapeutic recreational activities and group games.
• Support care plans designed by licensed therapists to build coping, communication, and social skills.
• Monitor patient behavior and safety during activities and throughout the day.
• Participate in group facilitation, emotional coaching, and de-escalation strategies.
• Serve as a positive role model, encouraging healthy decision-making and peer interactions.
• Maintain a structured, safe, and fun therapeutic environment indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to perform physical holds, movements, and carries as required.
• Block and redirect patient movements as needed for safety.
• Intervene in situations with protective holds when necessary.
