AWARE in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician. The position starts at $19.00 to $23.59 per hour and is full-time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSE is required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently in assigned location/region.
• Travel to client or service area by personal vehicle or AWARE vehicle.
• Experience leading and instructing participants in gaining life skills.
• Experience in planning and leading recreational activities.
• Implements interventions sensitive to client age, cultural background, development stage, and ability.
• Role model by engaging in activities with clients to promote positive lifestyle skills.
• Assist TRPD in creating protocols for interventions with short-term goals and criteria for assignment.
• Observe client response to intervention and communicate with TRPD and treatment team.
• Document outcomes of the intervention in EHR per policy.
• Provide client information at transition or discharge to assist in planning.
