AWARE is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Service Technician in Anaconda, MT to support adults, children, and families in the community through life skills activities and therapeutic interventions. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate care and a culture that values growth and collaboration.

Formación

• High School Diploma or HSE required.
• Must have Montana Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Background check (criminal and protective services) required.

Responsabilidades

• Work independently in assigned location/region.
• Travel via personal or AWARE vehicle to clients.
• Lead and instruct participants in gaining life skills.
• Plan and lead recreational activities.
• Implement interventions sensitive to client age, culture, and abilities.
• Model engagement to promote positive lifestyle skills.
• Create intervention protocols with short-term goals.
• Observe client response and communicate with TRPD and treatment team.
• Document outcomes in EHR per policy for program evaluation.
• Assist in transition or discharge planning.
