Cascadia Healthcare is hiring a cook to prepare meals for residents, employees, and events, using safe handling and proper temperatures. You will follow planned menus and ensure meals are served appetizingly while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include portion control, labeling, and maintaining a clean kitchen. You will work with the Culinary Manager to meet dietary needs and schedules.

Formación

• ServSafe Food Safety Certification required.
• Six months' experience in large-quantity food preparation preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old per federal child labor laws.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets and for events as requested.
• Portion and serve meals following planned menus and diets.
• Use food handling and safety techniques per policy.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with Culinary Manager to meet timing and dietary needs.
