Acacia Network is seeking a Community Residence Aide (CRA) to provide residents with high-quality care in a therapeutic environment in New York. Under supervision, the CRA will handle daily living tasks and coordinate with health and clinical teams to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires an Associate Degree or higher, a genuine desire to help individuals with mental illness, and strong documentation and teamwork skills.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher required.
• Three (3) years of experience in Human Services or Behavioral Health preferred.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and to contribute positively.
• Excellent documentation skills, ability to meet deadlines, and follow protocol.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intake assessment planning, service coordination, service provision, and discharge planning.
• Provide assertiveness and self-advocacy training to residents.
• Assist residents with developing daily living skills.
• Coordinate with primary health and clinical care teams.
• Assist with record keeping, monitoring, storage and supervision of self-administration of medication.
• Manage incidents in accordance with policy.
• Assist with mental health projects to meet goals and comply with laws and regulations.
• Assist in skill development for employment or education opportunities.
• Develop social skills to reduce isolation.
• Maintain and develop knowledge through learning activities.
• Provide services addressing dressing, hygiene, food preparation, clothing care, environment maintenance, budgeting.
• Ensure restorative services occur timely.
• Ensure compliant documentation in charts and program areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
