Job summary

Acacia Network is seeking a Community Residence Monitor in Bronx, NY to oversee residents in a therapeutic setting, ensuring safety and adherence to facility rules. The CRM supports daily living, social skills development, and incident reporting within a culturally diverse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• One year of experience in Human Services or Behavioral Health preferred.
• Strong desire to assist individuals with mental health challenges.
• Excellent customer service and documentation skills.
• Ability to work well in a culturally diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide assertiveness and self-advocacy training to residents.
• Assist residents with developing daily living skills.
• Report incidents per organization’s Incident Reporting Policy.
• Monitor client activity in common areas.
• Support development of social skills to reduce isolation.
• Maintain and develop knowledge through training and workshops.
• Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Prepare meals on weekdays and weekends if needed.
• Medication monitoring.
• Escort clients to appointments within the community.
• Other duties as assigned.
