Job summary

Bellefaire JCB is seeking a Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Worker to provide behavioral health services under the Clinical Supervisor for Summit In-Home. You will support clients and families in home, school, and community settings, focusing on education, linkage, and skill-building, with case coordination and symptom management.

The role requires delivering services while maintaining documentation, collaborating with the treatment team, and attending staff meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services and documentation (treatment planning, case management, symptom monitoring).
  • Deliver services in community, school, and home settings and assist with transportation as needed.
  • Maintain clinical records in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate with treatment team on planning and progress; attend staffing as required.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, to meet client needs.
  • Complete required trainings and maintain licensure per agency standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Education: Minimum High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor for Summit In-Home, the Therapeutic Behavioral Service (TBS) Worker provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients, their families, and/or family members as needed. They will work with clients in community, school, and home settings to provide support – including education, consultation, linkage, and skill building – for the client, parents and/or caregivers, case coordination, and symptom management and monitoring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide therapeutic behavioral services and documentation thereof, including but not limited to:
    • treatment planning
    • support, including education and consultation for families regarding the client’s mental illness
    • case management
    • symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms
    • assistance in increasing social support skills and networks
    • referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services
    • access to resources in the community
    • skills building
    • client transportation
    • Report all incidents and documents the same day to Clinical Supervisor.
  2. Provide required amount of delivery hours per week for this position.
  3. Work a flexible workweek which can include evenings to meet clients and families’ needs.
  4. Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis.
  5. Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
  6. Attendance to staffing needs, as necessary for youth and family.
  7. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
OTHER DUTIES:
  1. Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  2. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  3. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  4. Other duties as assigned by management.
