Job summary

Bellefaire JCB is seeking a Program Floor Supervisor to join the residential treatment team. You will provide administrative and clinical oversight of direct care staff and ensure a therapeutic milieu for youth ages 8–17.

You will supervise shifts, coordinate staff coverage, and contribute to individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include supervising staff, leading therapy-oriented interactions, and ensuring safety, program compliance, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations and shift duties within Residential Treatment.
  • Direct supervision of staff and clients during shifts and activities.
  • Admin supervision: scheduling and staff coverage when needed.
  • Lead therapeutic interactions between staff and clients.
  • Contribute to individual treatment plans and schedules.
  • Participate in trainings and staff development sessions.
  • Prepare reports on incidents, progress, and safety compliance.
  • Inspect resources, maintain safety, cleanliness, and supplies.
  • Attend meetings and provide trainings to staff.
  • Maintain relations with other programs and providers.
  • Follow budget guidelines for client funds.

The hourly range for this position is $23-26/hr. depending on experience and education. This is 4 days/week 10 hour shifts and the hours are from 11PM-9AM.

AGENCY SUMMARY:

The Intensive Treatment Program is a co‑ed therapeutic residential treatment program for youth, ages 8 through 17, with significant mental health and psychiatric needs. The program provides a safe, secure home‑like setting where their path toward healing can begin. The Intensive Treatment Program specializes in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—a cognitive behavioral treatment approach that emphasizes the development of four skill sets: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Program Floor Supervisor is part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals who are expected to provide clinical expertise and oversight of clients within Residential Treatment. The Program Floor Supervisor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the administrative supervision of direct care staff, maintaining an effective therapeutic milieu, and ensuring that the program meets the client’s basic mental, physical, and emotional health, as well as their therapeutic, developmental, academic and recreational needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Oversee the operations and facilitation of shift duties and responsibilities within Residential Treatment.
  2. Provide direct supervision of staff and clients during scheduled shifts, including during instructional, therapeutic, and recreational activities.
  3. Provide administrative supervision to the program and staff. Oversee staff scheduling and obtain staff coverage when necessary.
  4. Lead effective therapeutic interactions between staff and clients.
  5. Responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of each client’s individualized treatment plan and schedule.
  6. Participate in residential and departmental training sessions and workshops as part of staff development programming.
  7. Prepare timely reports and summaries on various items, including by not limited to, incidents, treatment progress, and fire code regulations, in accordance with established Agency policies and federal, state and local laws.
  8. Inspect and manage unit resources including monitoring potential safety hazards, cleanliness and organization, and ensuring adequate maintenance and supplies consistent with Agency policy/procedure.
  9. Attend staff meetings, treatment conferences, team meetings, supervision, and other meetings. Provide trainings as needed to staff and supervisors.
  10. Maintain appropriate relations with other programs as well as other providers. Provide care management or other services on behalf of clients, or as assigned by the Program Clinical Supervisor or Director.
  11. Follow cost and budge guidelines for client funds.
OTHER DUTIES:
  1. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  2. Respect the privacy of students and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  3. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
