Job summary

Intercept Health is seeking a Therapeutic Aide in Virginia to support students in a local school district using trauma-informed approaches. You will implement behavior-based strategies to boost coping and social skills, observe progress, and help develop individualized goals.

You will collaborate with school staff, attend related meetings, and provide coaching to parents and caregivers on behavior management to promote generalization of skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with experience working with children.
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral science preferred; ABA experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with clients in a local school district.
• Implement behavior principles to increase coping and pro-social skills in school.
• Observe client skills and collect data to develop program goals.
• Collaborate with school personnel and attend school meetings.
• Coach, train, and support parents/caregivers in behavior management strategies.
