Job summary

The California State University, Northridge (CSUN) invites applications for the position of Customer Service Worker-Usher/Backstage (Continuous), a temporary on-call role supporting events at the Soraya Center and campus theaters.

Under supervision, CSW handles ticketing, seating, program distribution, policy enforcement, and assists patrons. Preferred certifications include CPR/AED/First Aid; experience in catering or food service a plus; strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage crowds.
• CPR, AED and/or First Aid certification are preferred.
• Catering or food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Refers matters to team supervisor and coordinates with Audience Services, Artists Entrance, and Production Hospitality.
• Performs ticket scanning/tearing and distributes programs; assists patrons with seating and late seating.
• Enforces policies on items, food/beverage, and recording devices in the theatre.
