Job summary

San Diego Theatres is hiring a Part-Time Ticket Seller to support the Civic Theatre and Balboa Theatre ticket offices. You will assist patrons with ticket purchases and exchanges, work with the Ticketmaster Archtics system, and handle various payment types.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and some daytime shifts, with a strong emphasis on customer service and accuracy. Training will cover Archtics and ticketing procedures.

Qualifications

One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience.
Extensive computer experience including Excel and Word.
Knowledge of Ticketmaster and/or other ticketing system software and procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist patrons in selecting and purchasing tickets at Civic Theatre and Balboa Theatre windows.
Assist subscribers with subscription exchanges and additional ticket purchases with Ticketmaster Archtics.
Process cash, credit cards, gift certificates, and other payments; balance to reports.
Process special ticket orders as requested by management.
Maintain availability for evening, weekend, daytime and holiday shifts each month.
Move between Civic and Balboa Theatre windows as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.
