Job summary

Marcus Theatres is seeking a Shift Lead to support theatre management in daily operations, guest service, and staff communication. This role serves as a first point of contact for guest concerns and helps coach, train, and enforce policies to maintain an exceptional guest experience.

The Shift Lead reports to the General Manager and collaborates with team members to meet daily goals, manage show schedules, and uphold Best In Class standards across service, product quality, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience in theatre industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Willingness to learn new skills and software systems.
• Flexible for peak periods and show schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals and objectives to associates.
• Assist management by repositioning team members during peak periods and according to show schedules.
• Process voids, refunds, reserve seating swaps, and issuing loyalty points for guest service reasons.
• Reboot terminals to ensure scanning is 100% operational.
• Be the first point of contact for guest concerns.
• Maintain daily operations by meeting Best In Class benchmarks for service quality, cleanliness, and guest value.
• Assist with projects including seat repair, training, inventory, and financial goal planning/execution.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the management team.
