Job summary

Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc. is seeking a Theatre Assistant Manager in Training for a part-time role focused on guest service in ticket and concessions sales. The position includes structured training to become an Assistant Manager within 90 days.

You will support operations, ensure cleanliness, handle cash and inventory, and uphold MPAA guidelines while working evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role offers benefits and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Availability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to actively listen and understand others.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to perform math calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and complete a background check prior to hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Engages guest with eye contact and a smile.
• Uses suggestive sales techniques to inform guest of special promotions and savings.
• Efficiently completes sales transaction of tickets and/or concessions on point-of-sale terminals, accepts all types of payment and correctly makes change.
• Maintains accurate cash and inventory levels.
• Assembles food items (popcorn, drinks, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, etc.).
• Conducts theatre checks and hardscape checks outside of the building.
• Conducts crowd control.
• Cleans inside and outside of the concession stand and maintains stock of concession supplies.
• General cleaning of theatre and lobby areas.
• Enforcement of MPAA rating system.
