Coming Attractions Theatres is seeking a part-time Theatre Assistant Manager in Training. You will handle ticket and concessions sales with a focus on customer service while helping maintain theatre cleanliness and operations.

This 90-day training path prepares you to advance to an Assistant Manager role, requiring 18+ years old, reliable attendance, and strong English communication. Evening, weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engages guests with eye contact and a smile.
• Uses suggestive selling to inform guests of promotions.
• Processes sales at the POS and handles payments
• Maintains cash and inventory accuracy.
• Assembles concession items (popcorn, drinks, hot dogs, nachos, etc.).
• Conducts theatre and exterior checks.
• Manages crowd control.
• Cleans concession stand and maintains supplies.
• Cleans theatre and lobby areas.
• Enforces MPAA rating system.

Theatre Assistant Manager in Training

Description

Summary: This position is a sales-oriented position responsible for providing quality guest service in ticket and concessions sales while maintaining the cleanliness of the theatre. This position allows the opportunity to obtain the knowledge and skills to become an Assistant Manager in a structured and timely manner, no longer than 90-days. Must be 18 years old or older.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Engages guest with eye contact and a smile.
2. Uses suggestive sales techniques to inform guest of special promotions and savings.
3. Efficiently completes sales transaction of tickets and/or concessions on point-of-sale terminals, accepts all types of payment and correctly makes change.
4. Maintains accurate cash and inventory levels.
5. Assembles food items (popcorn, drinks, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, etc.).
6. Conducts theatre checks and hardscape checks outside of the building.
7. Conducts crowd control.
8. Cleans inside and outside of the concession stand and maintains stock of concession supplies.
9. General cleaning of theatre and lobby areas.
10. Enforcement of MPAA rating system.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

6. Ability to obtain a food handlers permit is essential.
