Stages Consultants LLC in New Jersey is seeking a Theatre Consultant / Project Manager to join our theatre planning team. You will design theatres, stage and backstage spaces, and coordinate with BIM staff on documentation and production support.

You will collaborate with firm leadership and our architectural/engineering partners, traveling within the United States and Canada (approximately 30%) with occasional overseas travel possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years theatre consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong collaboration with clients, architects, engineers and contractors.

Responsabilités

• Develop theatre and auditorium planning concepts, seating geometry, circulation, and sightline studies.
• Coordinate design of stage machinery and performance lighting systems.
• Communicate design intent through diagrams, sketches, layouts and narratives.
• Prepare and review project documents in Revit with BIM staff support.
• Produce design reports, presentations and written correspondence.
• Participate in coordination meetings with architects, engineers and design collaborators.
• Review drawings and comment on theatrical integration with architecture and engineering.
• Conduct site visits, prepare site reports, and assist in on-site coordination and commissioning.
• Contribute to design and documentation across multiple project teams as schedules require.
