Job summary
Apeiro Design in San Francisco or New York is seeking a Senior Associate to support Principals and Associate Principals in project and systems design across theatres, venues and immersive environments. You will manage projects, document designs, coordinate with consultants and clients, and help drive business development.
The role requires 7+ years in theatrical consulting or 10+ years in performing arts production, strong CAD/Revit skills, and excellent organizational and communication
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in theatrical consulting or adjacent industry.
- 10+ years in performing arts production and/or design for live performance and facilities systems design.
- Advanced degree in theatre production/technical management, architectural design or engineering or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead project management duties with significant clients in collaboration with Principals and studio staff.
- Coordinate with design staff, architects and engineers outside the office.
- Prepare and edit specifications for all technical systems.
- Lead development of project work, technical standards and deliverables.
- Review shop drawings and submittal drawings.
- Support development and procurement of new business for the firm.
- Support repeat business with existing clients.
