Job summary

Apeiro Design is seeking a Senior Associate to support project and systems design across a range of theatrical facilities. The role emphasizes project management, design documentation, and collaboration with Principals and other staff.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in theatrical consulting or related fields, an advanced degree, and a proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design efforts. Travel domestically and internationally may be required, with offices in San Francisco or New York.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in a theatrical consulting or adjacent industry.
• 10+ years’ experience in performing arts production and/or design for live performance and facilities systems design.
• Advanced degree in theatre production/technical management, architectural design or engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Held in high regard in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects of various sizes and complexity at any given time.
• Provide primary Project Management duties with significant clients in collaboration with Principals and studio staff.
• Coordination with other design staff, architects, and engineers outside of our office.
• Prepare and edit specifications for all technical systems.
• Lead development of project work, technical standards and deliverables.
• Review shop drawings and submittal drawings.
• Develop relationships with peers that will lead to future business.
• Perform assigned duties to the best of ability and observe obligations to the firm.
