Job summary

CSU Northridge is seeking a Customer Service Worker – Usher/Merchandise Pool to support events at the Soraya and campus theatres. The role involves assisting patrons, selling Soraya-branded and artist merchandise, and ensuring smooth operations during performances.

The position is on-site, temporary, with a hiring pool through June 30, 2027. CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred; bilingual skills are a plus. On-campus work in Northridge.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service at venues or events.
• Ability to process tickets and distribute programs accurately.
• Experience selling merchandise and handling cash/credit transactions.
• Comfort with fast-paced event environments and basic crowd control.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patrons during events.

• Set up, maintain, and clean hospitality areas as needed.
