Job summary

Regal in Glendale, NY is seeking an Assistant Manager to operate a theatre and supervise staff. This hourly role involves running all theatre functions and serving as a Regal representative in line with our mission and policies.

You will train and coach non-management employees, oversee projection and AV systems, ensure guest satisfaction, and manage cash handling, safety, and compliance. A high school diploma and some supervisory experience are required, with training programs available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months supervisory experience or six months theatre experience with Cast Certification.
• Ability to read and understand training materials on harassment and discrimination.
• If selling alcohol, must complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise an unspecified number of employees with HR oversight as needed.
• Ensure regular attendance, uphold theatre policies, and manage staff performance.
• Train, coach and develop non-management employees; conduct interviews as needed.
• Operate all projection and audio-visual equipment and related systems.
• Maintain safety, risk management, and guest satisfaction standards.
• Count, deposit, and reconcile daily receipts and manage cash control.
• Control costs and oversee inventory, concessions and cafe supplies.
• Schedule shows, marketing, promotions, and coordinate with GM and management.
• Read and implement training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination.
