Job summary

B&B Theatres in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a committed, proactive Assistant Manager to collaborate with other managers to hire and train staff and ensure guests receive excellent service.

You will supervise and coordinate operations, manage scheduling, inventory, and events, and help drive customer satisfaction while mentoring a diverse team.

Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required; you will work to maintain safety, standards, and profitable operations across the theater.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire.
• R-Serving certification is required for locations with bars or packaged alcohol; must be willing to pour basic drinks.
• Must obtain Food Handler and/or Food Manager certifications as required by location.
• Must have a valid driver license and vehicle insurance.
• Must be able to open and/or close regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Theatre General Manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy.
• Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met.
• Supervise and motivate staff.
• Interpersonal and mediation skills.
• Communicate with guests and evaluate their needs and specifications.
• Assist in hiring, training, and maintaining employee records.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory management, ordering supplies, and coordinating operational needs.
• Collaborate with management to achieve operational goals.
• Open/close procedures, cash handling, and recordkeeping.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
