Job summary

B&B Theatres in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an Assistant Manager to help supervise staff, hire and train new team members, and ensure guests receive outstanding service. You will work with the theatre leadership to coordinate daily operations and keep amenities, booths, and equipment running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to mentor diverse personalities. You should be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays while helping drive

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
• If aged 21 and older, R-Serving certification is required for all locations with bars or packaged alcohol and you must be willing and able to pour basic drinks.
• Must obtain Food Handler and/or Food Manager certifications as required by specific location assignments.
• Must be able to run errands and provide current driver license and vehicle insurance.
• Must have the availability to open and/or close regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Theatre General Manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategy.
• Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met.
• Supervise and motivate staff.
• Interpersonal and mediation skills.
• Communicate with guests and evaluate their needs and specifications.
• Assist in hiring, training, and maintaining employee records.
• Secure adherence to company’s policies and guidelines.
• Cleaning.
• You will likely find yourself doing a wide variety of tasks each time you work.
• Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor.
