Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Maintenance Employee to repair and maintain theatre facilities, equipment, and property, mostly during non-operating hours, with possible shifts during operating hours.

The role involves repairing seats, walls, doors, restrooms, and various fixtures; coordinating with management and vendors; and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the theatre environment. Excellent guest service and timely communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to take directions and follow them.
• Responds with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains theatre and property including tile, carpet, restroom fixtures, countertops, mirrors, walls and office furniture; minor plumbing and electrical work; auditorium seats and more.
• Keeps Cinemark-owned tools and supplies clean, organized and well maintained.
• Removes trash and disposed parts from repair areas after completion.
• Cleans and organizes maintenance storage areas.
• Inspects theatre and property to ensure cleanliness and good working order before next business day.
• Coordinates with General Manager on items to be repaired or maintained.
• Communicates any parts and supplies needs to General Manager.
• Keeps theatre keys secure and doors locked during non-operating hours.
• Prevents unauthorized access during Maintenance shift.
• Meets with outside vendors to grant access and direct them to work areas.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Monitors safety and security issues and reports them to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
