Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Maintenance Employee to repair and maintain theatre facilities, equipment and property. Duties include fixing seats, fixtures, and common areas, coordinating with the General Manager, and supporting vendor access for major repairs.

The role typically operates outside of regular hours but may occur during operating times; safety and guest experience come first. Applicants should be 18+, able to work flexible shifts, communicate in English, and transport parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible hours incl. early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude.
• Provides excellent guest service.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to take and follow directions.
• Sense of urgency in tasks.
• Reliable transportation to acquire parts and supplies.
• Ability to maneuver in limited spaces (restrooms, seats, etc.)
• Ability to safely mix and dispose of chemicals per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains theatre and property (tiles, floors, fixtures, seating, etc.).
• Keep tools and supplies safely maintained and organized.
• Remove trash and dispose of broken parts after repairs.
• Clean and organize maintenance storage areas.
• Ensure theatre is clean and in good order for opening next day.
• Coordinate repairs with General Manager and communicate part needs.
• Maintain access control and supervise outside vendors.
• Use PPE and adapt to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Monitor safety and security, report issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
