Job summary

The Theatre Attendant position at the Aurora Fox Arts Center supports front-of-house operations, guest services, box office, concessions, ushering and house management. You will help ensure performances run safely and smoothly while delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants should have 3 years of customer service experience, be able to handle tickets and payments accurately, and be prepared to obtain CPR/AED and TIPS alcohol certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with ticketing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house operations before, during and after performances.
• Coordinate with production staff, stage management and box office for smooth operations.
• Sell, exchange and process tickets using the theater's ticketing system.
• Prepare and serve concessions, including alcoholic beverages, per laws.
• Assist patrons with accessibility seating and inquiries.
• Maintain lobby and public areas in a clean, welcoming state.
