Job summary

The City of Aurora is seeking a Theatre Attendant to support front-of-house operations at the Aurora Fox Arts Center. You will assist guests, manage box office, handle concessions, usher, and help ensure safe, efficient, and professional performances.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of customer service experience, and cash handling experience. CPR/AED and TIPS training may be provided by the city.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling experience.
• Experience in the performing arts sector.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house operations before, during and after performances.
• Coordinate with production staff, stage management and box office for smooth operations.
• Make announcements before performances and manage late seating.
• Respond to patron concerns, emergencies and accessibility needs.
• Sell, exchange and process tickets using the theater's ticketing system.
• Process payments and balance cash drawers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email and in person.
