Job summary

Santa Fe Playhouse is seeking a strategic Development Director to lead fundraising efforts that sustain and grow our artistic mission in Santa Fe.

The role focuses on building the annual development plan, managing donor relations, securing grants and sponsorships, planning events, and collaborating with the Managing Director and Board to meet revenue goals. A 2–4 year nonprofit fundraising background and some evening/weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, ideally in the arts.
• Track record in individual giving, grants, and/or event fundraising.
• Strong writing skills and donor database/CRM proficiency.
• Some evening/weekend availability for performances and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual development plan and budget.
• Manage a donor portfolio and annual giving appeals; steward major gifts.
• Research, write, and submit grant proposals; track deadlines and reporting.
