Job summary

SFFILM is seeking a Director of Development to lead strategic fundraising efforts, build and steward donor relationships, and guide a senior development team. This role reports to the Executive Director and is part of the senior leadership team, shaping multi-year philanthropic strategies and major gift campaigns.

The Director will collaborate with the board and executive staff to increase contributed revenue from individuals, corporations, and foundations, while overseeing events like Awards

Responsibilities

• Lead the fundraising strategy and annual plan for individual, corporate, foundation, and government supporters.
• Manage a year-round development team of five and seasonal staff to deliver campaigns and solicitations.
• Oversee fundraising initiatives and related events, including the annual Awards Night.
