Job summary

Qualifications

• MFA in theatre design and technology required.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices and community engagement.
• Experience coordinating with guest teaching artists and scene shop supervision.

Responsibilities

• Contribute designs (scenic, lighting, sound, digital projection) for two shows a year.
• Serve as production manager for a season of four shows, managing calendars and budgets.
• Teach at least one four-credit class per year within the program.
• Maintain the Anne Simley Theatre and coordinate capital budget requests.
• Hire, train, and mentor student workers across scene shop, light shop, sound, and digital media.
• Collaborate with faculty across Hamline’s Division of the Arts to strengthen programs.
