Qualifications

• MFA in theatre design and technology.
• Experience designing scenic and lighting for productions.
• Budget management and supervising student crews.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute designs for two shows per year.
• Production manager for four-show season: manage calendars, budgets, builds.
• Teach at least one four-credit class annually.
• Maintain the Anne Simley Theatre; request capital budget needs as required.
• Hire, train and mentor student workers across scene/light/sound/digital media.
• Recruit and retain students from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead a student team to build sets and hang lights with a scene shop supervisor.
• Collaborate with guest artists and designers.
• Work with Program Director on academic affairs and curricular integrity.
• Collaborate with other Hamline departments to strengthen programs.
