Job summary

Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Concessions Associate to join our Guest Services team. This on-site role supports daily concessions operations during performances, including sales, inventory management, and cash handling, while delivering friendly service to patrons.

The position offers a schedule up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and may provide housing for the right candidate. No prior experience is required and training is provided.

• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily concessions operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash and credit card sales, and financial reconciliation.
• Set up and break down the concessions stand before and after each performance.
• Maintain and restock inventory in the POS system (e.g., Square) and from back-stock.
• Communicate regularly with the Concessions Captain about needs and operational updates.
• Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on guest trends, sales performance, and process improvements.
