Position: Bartender (Front of House)
Status: Part-Time, Hourly
Compensation: $15/hour
Location: 120 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007

Position Summary

Bristol Riverside Theatre seeks a part-time Bartender to join our Front of House team. This role is responsible for providing efficient, friendly beverage and concessions service to patrons before performances and during intermission, while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming concessions area.

This position averages 4–12 hours per week during the performance season (approximately 25–27 weeks per year). Shifts are primarily evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to patrons in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system (Square)
• Handle cash and credit card payments responsibly
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report on low-stocked items
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Reconcile sales at the end of each shift and ensure deposits are accurate
• Collaborate with House Management and FOH staff to ensure smooth operations
• Support bar service for special events and rentals, as needed

Qualifications

• Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during intermission rushes
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Previous food service or bartending experience preferred
• Familiarity with Square or similar POS systems a plus
• RAMP certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
