Job summary

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is seeking an Entertainment Technician to program, maintain, and repair lighting, audio and video equipment for casino entertainment productions.

The role requires a minimum 1 year of theatrical technician experience, strong knowledge of lighting and sound systems, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year general experience in a theatrical environment as a technician with knowledge of technical theater, including rigging, safety, audio/lighting systems, video and scenic elements.
• A minimum of 1 year general experience in a theatrical environment as a technician with knowledge of technical theater including rigging, safety, lighting and sound systems, scenery and drapery, and related tasks.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform theatrical service tasks with basic technical skills.
• Operate spotlight for assigned shows.
• Operate light board and/or audio console for small to medium shows/events.
• Assist with show operations, installation, operation and strike for entertainment events.
• Troubleshoot maintenance and repair of lighting, audio or scenic equipment.
