Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager in Boardman Township, Ohio to assist in daily theatre operations, ensure policy adherence, and support cross-training across departments.

You will coach team members, prepare reports, supervise safety and guest service, and progress through the Management Accreditation Program toward Theatre Manager. Flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses within the program.
• Completion of basic food handling training and any required local/state certifications.
• Management personnel handling alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Excellent guest service and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the General Manager's direction.
• Support GM decisions in staff communications.
• Work across all theatre departments and job functions.
• Train and coach team members in their roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper PPE usage across shifts.
• Enforce Cinemark guidelines and dress code fairly.
• Report Employee relations issues to the GM per protocol.
• Assist with incident reporting and repairs requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
