Job summary

Cinema West is seeking an Assistant Manager at Beach Cities in California. This part-time, non-exempt role supports the General Manager in guest services, facility operations and staff coaching. Responsibilities include supervising Concession, Box Office, Kitchen and Usher, training staff, addressing guest questions and maintaining safety and cleanliness during peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college coursework preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of employee supervisory experience.
• Work authorization to verify identity in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily guest services, facility operations and staff coaching.
• Ensure outstanding guest service in a guest-friendly environment.
• Supervise Concession, Box Office, Kitchen and Usher duties.
• Recruit, train and assess floor staff performance regularly.
• Handle safety, security issues and maintain a clean theater environment.
