Job summary

B&B Theatres in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Cook/Kitchen Staff member to prep meals, cook items, check freshness, and garnish plates. You will oversee kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient operation.

Hours are in the evening and on weekends, with occasional holidays. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and the role supports obtaining required certifications; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age at hire.
• Experience in food and beverage service preferred.
• Experience with hot and cold food preparation.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and health codes.
• Willing to obtain certifications (R-Serving, Food Handler, and/or Food Manager) as required; company covers costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
