Job summary

B&B Theatres in Airway Heights, WA is seeking a Cook/Kitchen Staff member for part-time shifts. You will prep meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cook meals, check freshness, and garnish plates. The role includes maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment, with emphasis on hot and cold preparations.

Hours are evenings, weekends, and sometimes holidays. Training and certifications in food safety will be provided or reimbursed as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.
• Prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with hot and cold food preparation.
• Proficiency with kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors (18+).
• Willingness to obtain R-Serving, Food Handler, and/or Food Manager certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, fryers, grills, mixers, and slicers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, storage areas, and cooking equipment.
• Stock and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures per company policies.
